Below you’ll find out all the details on what a day at the Insane Inflatable 5K with your kids looks like!
When To Arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your start time. This will give you time to park, check in at registration, stretch, meet up with friends and family, and get your child pumped to have a krazy good time.
What Do I Get With Registration?
Your child’s registration includes a Krazy Kids Inflatable Fun Run T-shirt, souvenir running bib, finisher’s medal and access into Krazy Town. Bibs are to be secured to the front of your child’s shirt.
What’s Next After Registration Pick-Up?
After going through registration onsite, please head into the Insane Midway and Krazy Town to explore our vendor booths and sponsor tents. As your kids get ready to run, they can stretch, grab a snack, or meet up with friends to bounce on the town inflatables. Please do not leave your child unattended. There is no childcare service at the event.
Safety On Course
We do everything in our power to ensure that your kids can have endless fun in a safe environment. If you plan on following along with your child, we ask that parents do not climb on the obstacles. We will have volunteers at each obstacle to give a hand to any children that need assistance. If your child gets injured on course or in Krazy Town, find the nearest volunteer and they will contact one of our crew members. If needed, we can give you and your child a ride to the EMT station for quick assistance. If your child injures their head or neck, please do not move them until EMT arrives. If your child cannot complete the rest of the course, we will personally make sure that they still receive a shirt and medal.
Children With Special Needs
If your child has special needs, we still want them to be included on the fun! We encourage these children to run at the end of their wave. This will help limit the amount of other kids running at the same time as them. While as a parent you cannot enter the inflatables with them, you can follow along right next to them. Volunteers will be on course to give them a hand as needed.
Lost Child Plan
If you cannot find your child, please head directly to the Start Line tent. Our Event MC can make as many announcements as needed until your child is safely returned to you. There is communication throughout the day between all crew members and volunteers, so we will work together to find your child even if they are on course. The finish line area is ideal meeting point to set up with your children if you get separated, and we encourage your kids to not leave this area without their mom/dad/family/friend.
