FRIDAY PACKET PICK UP

  • Save time on Saturday by picking up your race bib on Friday, October 21st. Stop by any time between 4pm – 7pm.
  • Minors are not required to show ID in order to pick up their packet. The adult picking up for them will be asked to verify the participants full name and birthday.
  • You may pick up a packet for team members, friends or family – however they need to sign their waiver online prior to packet pickup and you will need a picture of the participant’s ID. This can be a photocopy, emailed scan or text. Packets will not be given without presenting this documentation first. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • There will not be participant shirts available at packet pick up.

KEY POINTS

  • WATER – As it will be warm, participants are strongly encouraged to bring water with them to take on the course. We will provide water on course as well as at the Finish Line.
  • PARKINGParking is FREE. All participant parking will be in dedicated lots around the area. Please follow event parking signs.
  • Arrive 1 HOUR prior to your wave time to ensure you have enough time to: park, check in at the Registration Tent, get your bib, check your bag at our complimentary Bag Check Tent and head to the Start Line.
  • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • On Saturday, event day, you may still register (either online or at our registration tent) for $75/person – CREDIT CARD ONLY. You can only sign up for open waves.
  • Credit card purchases will be possible for merchandise.
  • Bring your Driver’s License/State ID. You will not be allowed to pick up your bib without it!
  • If you registered with a military discount, please bring your military ID.
  • Please wear appropriate clothing/footwear to get you through the race. Shoes are OK on all obstacles.
  • You may bring a lawn chair or blanket. You may not bring weapons, drugs, coolers or outside alcohol. You may bring your own water (including on the course).
  • Don’t forget to take lots of pictures during your run. Insane Inflatable 5K provides officially licensed photo products that you can customize from home after the race. From photo books to journals to calendars and more, you can capture your awesome day and share with friends and family. Even more, a portion of the proceeds from every sale benefits the American Cancer Society. It’s a win/win!

EVENT SCHEDULE

You will have your specific wave time written on your bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away. All times subject to change as weather or other factors may require.

  • 7:30 AM – Registration Opens
  • 8:30 AM – WAVE #1 – Tote Away Wave
  • 9:00 AM – WAVE #2
  • 9:30 AM – WAVE #3
  • 10:00 AM – WAVE #4
  • 10:15 AM – WAVE #5
  • 10:30 AM – WAVE #6
  • 11:00 AM – WAVE #7 – Tote Away Wave
  • 1:00 PM – Event Closes

PARKING

  • Parking is FREE. All participant parking will be in dedicated lots around the area. Please follow event parking signs.
  • Please lock your vehicle at all times. The Insane Inflatable 5K is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

REGISTRATION

  • When you arrive at the venue, check in at the Registration Tent. The tent will be clearly marked. Choose any lane and check in to get your bib.
  • Registration begins at 7:30am (Saturday).
  • Don’t remember your wave time? You can resend yourself a confirmation email with this information.
  • Please bring your Driver’s License/State ID.
  • Once you check in, you will receive a race bib and directions on how to enter the Insane Midway
  • Proceed to Bag Check if you have any belongings that you do not want to carry while you race.
  • All runners will receive a finisher’s t-shirt, medal, snack, and water.

BAG CHECK

  • Complimentary Bag Check is provided for all runners at this event.
  • You will find your bag tag located on the bottom of your participant bib. Separate this portion and attach to your bag when you drop items off at the Bag Check tent.
  • The Insane Inflatable 5K is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

YOUR WAVE START TIME

  • Each participant should know his or her start time prior to race-day. If you do not know your wave time, you can resend yourself a confirmation email with this information.
  • Participants should arrive at least one hour prior to their wave time.
  • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away.
  • Participants should line up in the Starting Line corral 10 minutes before their wave time.
  • All runners will receive a race bib to be worn on the front of their shirt while running.

THE FINISH LINE

  • Upon completion of the race an Insane Inflatable 5K Team Member or volunteer will meet you at the Finish Line.
  • You will then receive your finisher’s t-shirt, medal, snack, and water.

RACE RULES

  • All Participants must have an Insane Inflatable 5K bib stuck on the FRONT of their clothing to start the race.
  • Participants will have their specific wave time written on their bib. Only runners with the correct wave time be allowed in the starting line area. All others will be turned away.
  • Alcohol may not be consumed prior to running the race.
  • Participants must line up 10 minutes prior to wave time, and you must run the wave you selected at registration.
  • You may skip an obstacle if it’s too tough.

SAFETY & EMERGENCY NEEDS

  • All participants acknowledge that participation in the Insane Inflatable 5K contains inherent risks and dangers. All participants must carefully read and sign the WAIVER during the registration process.
  • If you feel you cannot safely complete an obstacle, you should skip it and go around it.
  • In the event of an emergency requiring course evacuation, please follow all instructions given by Insane Inflatable 5K Staff or Volunteers, Emergency Medical Personnel or Law Enforcement Officers.
  • If you experience or witness an emergency situation while on the course, please immediately seek out an Insane Inflatable 5K team member (T-shirts marked “STAFF” or “VOLUNTEER” on the back). Staff and many volunteers will have radios and will provide quick assistance as needed.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  • We will have photographers on course taking pictures throughout the day. They will do their best to get as many shots as possible. In some cases, they may get some of a individual and none of another. Please know we will do our very best to get as many shots as physically possible.
  • All photos are free and will be available for download the Wednesday after the event. An email will be sent to you when they are ready to be viewed.

SPECTATORS

  • Spectators may enter the event for free.
  • Spectators get full access to the games, challenges and experiences on the Insane Midway, and are invited to view many areas of the course in designated Spectator Viewing Areas.
  • Spectators must follow the same rules as runners: You may bring a lawn chair or blanket. You may not bring weapons, drugs, coolers or alcohol.

Want to go behind the scenes at the Insane Inflatable 5K? Here’s a chance to support our efforts to create a fantastic event that ultimately helps us raise money and awareness for a local charity. We’re looking for energetic individuals and organizations to provide great customer service to our participants. All volunteers will receive:

  • Lunch and snacks to keep you energized.

FACILITIES

  • There will be port-a-potties onsite.
  • Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
  • Traveler Beer Company beer will available at this event.
  • Runners are allowed to bring water on the course with them if they choose (there will be 1-2 water stops on course).

WEATHER & NATURAL DISASTER POLICY

  • The Insane Inflatable 5K will run rain or shine. In the case of lightning or other “severe” weather, the event will either be delayed until the weather clears, postponed until the next day, rescheduled for another day or cancelled all together.
  • There are no standing scheduled “rain dates” for events owned and directed by the Insane Inflatable 5K. Events are held rain, shine or snow. In the case of significantly inclement weather (i.e. lightning in the area), we reserve the right to alter components of the event or course to address safety concerns, or potentially delay, postpone or cancel the event. In addition, it is possible that while we desire not to cancel the event, our facility and/or municipalities may force the cancellation of the event.
  • In such situations, there will be No Refunds of entry fees. Each athlete must accept any such risk of their entry fee. Monies collected have already been used to develop and produce the event. We promise to make every effort to produce a fair, safe and exciting event. Any decision made to go forth with the event is contingent on the overall event and course safety, and is made in collectively with local risk management, police, fire & rescue, and medical personnel as appropriate.
  • We reserve the right to withhold any obstacles to maintain a safe course for all runners.
